Six-months Meeting

On March 24–25, the CharCool consortium gathered for a two-day project meeting in the beautiful city of Messina (Italy)!CharCool is an EiC Pathfinder project, funded within the Clean and Efficient Cooling Challenge. Representatives from all partner institutions participated: Università degli Studi di Padova, KU Leuven, Delft University of Technology, Universitat de Lleida, Università degli Studi di Messina, and Sorption Technologies GmbH. It has been an intensive and productive meeting with concrete steps taken towards the final goal of developing a new generation of thermally-driven chillers powered with bio-based thermochemical material. Stay tuned for upcoming developments and progresses!

Kick-off Meeting

CharCool project kick-off meeting: a step towards sustainable cooling! On 3rd and 4th October 2024, the Department of Management and Engineering of University of Padova welcomed the project partners from Europe in Vicenza to set the activities and tasks within the project consortium.Together, the 5 university research laboratories and the high-tech SME will embark on a journey to rethink the future of clean cooling throuhg a revolutionary class of thermally-driven chiller based on a novel bio-based thermochemical material. Our journey toward a cooler, greener future, starts here!
